BSNL invites bids for supply and installation of hoardings

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), Bahraich, has invited bids under the ‘two-packet’ system from contractors for supply and installation of about 15 hoardings in the Bahraich SSA (Secondary Switching Area). The estimated value of the contract is Rs 15.30 lakh, while an EMD of Rs 38,250 has been specified.

To be eligible for the contract, applicants should have an experience of supply and installation of hoardings and should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs 25 lakh over the last two financial years with. They should have executed projects of a minimum value of Rs 5 lakh in each of the last two financial years.

The contract shall be awarded for a period of one year and may be extended for further a period of another year. This extension shall, however, be based on satisfactory performance of the successful bidder.

Interested parties can collect the tender documents costing Rs 1,136 from SDE (Planning), Office of the TDM, Bahraich, on cash payment at the counter of AO (Cash), Office of TDM, Main Telephone Exchange, Bahraich. The payment can also be made through a demand draft favouring the AO (cash) BSNL, TDM Bahraich, payable at Bahraich. The tender documents can be procured up to 2 pm on December 7, 2010.

The EMD will have to be deposited along with the bid documents in the form of cash, bank draft or PBG drawn in favour of AO (cash), BSNL, Office of GMTD, Ranchi, and original receipt so obtained should be attached with tender form. The Bank draft issued by a scheduled bank should be drawn in favour of AO (cash), BSNL, Office of TDM Bahraich.

Duly completed tender documents will have to be submitted at the Office of the DE (H.Q.), TDM, Bahraich, latest by 2 pm on December 8, 2010. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3 pm.
