OOH firm Rajdeep Publicity bags ad rights of NDMC digital screens

OOH media firm Rajdeep Publicity has acquired media rights for four digital screens in the New Delhi area from the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC). The contract has been given for 4 screens--two at Connaught Place and one each at Khan Market and Palika Kendra-- for a period of three years.

The firm will now sell advertising spots of 10 seconds on each of the screens. The ads will be played out in a 2-minute loop.

Talking about the acquisition, Vijay Rathod, Vice President (Marketing), Rajdeep Publicity Pvt. Ltd, said, “We have bagged the tender for NDMC’s digital screens. We will now venture into digital media and offer the screens to clients. As we have a local presence, it will be easy for us to manage the screens and display the advertisements swiftly.”

According to him the company has received a favourable response from advertisers so far.

“There have been positive responses from all top agencies. Almost all elite brands and other local clients have shown interest in displaying their ads on the screens. We are hopeful that they will appreciate and prefer the digital screens. Through the screens, the advertisements and messages of brands can reach the target audience in a crisp and colourful manner. Also, we should not forget the solus visibility that this medium offers.”

Advertising on the screens will begin by June-end and July first week.

When asked how the company will utilize the space, Rathod said, “The LED screens are located right in the heart of New Delhi, which is the largest business centre of the city. Digital media offers brands and organizations an affordable way to target and reach out to the audiences. It is especially effective as part of an integrated marketing strategy.”

“Digital advertising is a great way to make sure that your ad is not only seen, but it also retains the attention of your audience. With digital advertising, the number of people seeing your ad is much larger than the number in case of traditional billboards. There are many benefits of going digital. Bright, vivid and attention-grabbing displays cost less than a static billboard. Also, you will have complete control on your message,” he said.
