EG Communications wraps Delhi Metro trains with Khelo India initiative

Across generations in India, there is an age-old Indian adage that goes, 'Padhoge Likhoge Banoge Nawab, Kheloge Kudoge Banoge Kharab.' This has become a motto to encourage youngsters to single-mindedly study hard in order to be successful. Challenging this societal norm, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has launched a 'Khelo India School Games,' 'Kheloge Kudoge Toh Banoge Lajawab' programme, a new motto for India's youth to follow. To reach the youth, the ministry has partnered EG Communication to wrap the Yellow Line Delhi Metro with its creative.

The fully brand-wrapped Metro, plying from Samaypur Badli to Huda City Centre, was displayed from January 25 and will continue for a month. The Yellow Line route is one of the longest routes of Delhi Metro. Besides travelling through important business hubs such as Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazaar and Kashmere Gate, the route also covers Gurgaon, where the big corporate houses reside. This surely provides the brand all the required mileage as the TG would most certainly be visually stimulated while on the run to work. The brand is capturing an average of 20 lakh audiences daily on this line, which includes people from all walks of life

Commenting on the respective campaign, Praveen Gupta, Director, EG Communications said, "The Yellow Line offers a clutter free medium for the brand, besides greater reach as this line sees an estimated 1.4 million commuters daily. EG Communication feels proud to have executed this campaign and looks forward to many more such initiatives in the future."
