Delhi Metro invites bids for licensing ad rights inside 7 MRTS stations
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids from national, multinational agencies and corporates for licensing out advertising rights inside seven MRTS stations. The stations specified are Mandi House, Pragati Maidan, Indraprastha, Kaushambi, Vaishali, Dwarka Sec-8 and Dwarka Sec-21. The contract shall be awarded for a period of five years and an EMD of Rs 10 lakh is required for this tender.
These advertising rights are being offered on bare sites that have to be identified, media vehicles to be fabricated, installed and commissioned by the licensee inside these stations. The total ad space being offered is approximately 1169.12 sq m.
Tender documents can be obtained from the DMRC office up to 5 pm on November 29, 2010 on payment of Rs 10,500 through a demand draft or banker’s cheque drawn in favour of - Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, payable at Delhi.
If the tender forms are downloaded from the website, the demand draft or banker’s cheque towards the cost of the tender documents will have to be attached with the duly completed tender documents at the time of submission of bids.
Successful bidders will have to submit an interest free security deposit for an amount equivalent to one year’s license fee. This amount will have to be deposited in the form of six months bank guarantee and six months cash deposit through a bank draft or pay order. The security deposit will be escalated by 5 per cent after every year on a compounded basis.
Duly completed tender forms will have to be submitted to the Joint General Manager/ (Marketing), Office of GM (Operations), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Right Wing, 4th floor, Metro Bhawan, 13, Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi - 110001 before 12 pm on November 30, 2010. The bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 pm.
