Roshanspace Brandcom designs franchise model to help OOH people facing job issues
The revenue sharing franchise model will offer the franchisee an agreed percentage of the project which again will differ across various verticals
Mumbai-based OOH media advertising firm, Roshanspace Brandcom, in line with their tagline 'Ideas Magnified' has announced a franchise model to help the outdoorians who are facing various challenges on the job front such as furlough, or job loss owing to the COVID19 pandemic.
"The franchise model, designed on the basis of freelancing concept, allows those with skills and experience in the OOH industry to become entrepreneurs; their own boss, to earn by encashing their networks and rolling out their OOH campaigns on RoshanSpace Brandcom Media spread across the city, and to leverage their brand equity, to roll out campaigns," the agency said in a statement.
Understanding the current impasse faced by the OOH industry, the concept has been designed to help the employees, as well as the industry.
“We understand that in the current scenario where media owning firms have to perform their financial duties of paying license fees, landlord rents and handle day-day expenses, the job cuts or pay cuts are bound to happen. This is an initiative to help those people who have built their careers in OOH advertising industry. This also benefits the industry by giving the clients more options”, shares Bhoomi Lakhani, VP sales, RoshanSpace Brandcom.
The selected Franchises will have an agreement with the organisation, they will be provided with basic training and a kit to start off. The agreement can be mutually dissolved anytime by any of the parties concerned, on request.
"The model empowers people to utilise their contacts, previous clients or leads and convert them into deals wherein the company lends its expertise , assets and brand equity in executing the same. In order to empower entrepreneurial talent and promote the gig economy in the ooh industry we have taken this approach, " said managing director Junaid Shaikh.
The idea is to help people in leveraging their potential clients or leads, be it media agencies or direct clients to generate revenue at these unprecedented time”, explains Bhoomi.
