Pyramid Saimira, Kasthuri Kannada join hands for Pyramid Saimira Cine Gandha Film Awards

The year 2007 marked a renewed beginning in the annals of the Kannada film industry where newcomers were given a fitting welcome and new steps earmarked every passing venture in the industry. To mark this, Kasthuri Kannada is bringing the Pyramid Saimira Cine Gandha Film Awards 2007 on March 2, 2008.. The Award is an embodiment of the fast growing entertainment group under the Kannada Kasthuri channel’s aegis, which is been presented by Airtel and co-sponsored by Shashi Detergent and Venkateshwara Silks with Big FM 92.7 as radio partners.

Speaking about the Pyramid Saimira Cinegandha Awards 2007, P S Saminathan, Managing Director, Pyramid Saimira Group, said, “It is a matter of pride for us to partner with Kasthuri TV for the Pyramid Saimira Cine Gandha Film Awards in Bangalore. The year 2007 marks 74 years of the Kannada film industry, which has nurtured some of the country’s finest cinematic talent, and Pyramid Saimira, through being present across many languages in over 800 screens, we felt that the start of our Awards to honour the contributions made by stalwarts in the field of cinema should start from Karnataka. We would like to choose this platform to reiterate that Pyramid Saimira will endeavour to offer quality films in Kannada, thereby enhancing the standard of Indian film industry.”
