Photo Imaging Asia 2005 starts today with top imaging brands participating

Photo Imaging Asia 2005, the four-day photography and imaging exhibition, starting January 6, is being presented by Better Photography and supported by All India Photography Trade & Industry Association (AIPTIA). Homai Vyarawalla, India's first woman photojournalist, will inaugurate the exhibition.

Prakash Iyer, Managing Director, Infomedia India Ltd, said, “Photography industry worldwide is witnessing explosive growth. It’s very important for the industry to get exposure on the latest technology and state-of-the-art processes used globally. Photo Imaging Asia 2005 is a global platform for photography and imaging industry members to exchange ideas, forge workable relationship and explore business opportunities.”

Leading companies such as Agfa, Aver, Canon, Casio, EPSON, Fuji, Monarch, Hewlett Packard, Olympus, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Nikon, Phil Corporation Panasonic, Photoquip, Pinnacle, Samsung and Sony India Ltd. will participate in the exhibition.

Top photographers like Bipen Mistry, Ian Pereira and Rajat Ghosh will conduct workshops on various aspects of photography like function and portraiture photography, product and tabletop photography, digital photography and fashion and glamour photography which will be held during this exhibition.
