MICA to organise workshop on understanding AORs

MICA is organizing a workshop on 'Agency of Records - The (powerful) new kid on the block'. It would be held for 3-days running from 25-27 November at New Delhi. Targeted at senior media management and planning professionals, the workshop topics include media planning for the new millennium; AOR media buying; and AORs.

The first of 'MICA Media Workshop Series', it comes as a thirst quencher for those looking for proprietary media knowledge and advance their understanding of AORs. It is going to focus on media planning for the new millennium by using tracking information in media planning, proprietary planning tools, innovations and consumer insights. The AOR media buying programme would highlight the history of media buying in India, emerging trends, TV buying fundamentals, AOR buying concepts, deliverables, relationship management and client expectation management.

It is also going to cover the functions, workflow, tools and existing practices of the AORs. The exclusive presentations on media scenario and auditing by senior industry professionals would be the major highlight of the workshop. The names include: Punitha Arumugam, COO of Madison (West), CVL Srinivas, COO of Madison (North), Pradeep Iyengar, Senior Manager at Tatasons, Jairaj Padmanabhan, Group Media Director of Initiative Media, Prof. Anand Kalidas of MICA and Amit Agnihotri, Co-Founder of exchange4media.com.

MICA has been conducting Professional Development Programmes (PDPs) in the areas of Strategic Media Management, Media Planning and Marketing, Marketing, Marketing Research, Account Management, Brand Management and the like besides company specific programmes. MICA has also jointly conducted workshop with Indian Society of Advertisers, TAM Media Research and Dainik Jagran.
