LG Electronics decides to change media agency

LG Electronics has decided to change its media AoR, Initiative. The result is another pitch, and two agencies, Universal and MindShare being in contention.

Following the finalisation of its creative agencies, word was that LG Electronics was on the lookout for a change in its media AoR as well. When exchange4media contacted company officials, they confirmed that while agencies did approach it for their media responsibilities, the company decided to not affect any change in its media AoR and continue with Initiative.

But the story did not quite end there. As per industry sources, following internal debates and discussions, the company decided to look for another agency to handle its media responsibilities. The decision between Universal and MindShare will be taken in a week.
