K Sera Sera Productions acquires distribution rights for Tango Charlie

K Sera Sera Productions has acquired the distribution rights for Tango Charlie. The company will be distributing the movie in the Nizam territory. Tango Charlie is directed by Manishankar (of 16th December fame) and is based on the war theme.

The movie, which is slated for release on March 25, is produced by Nitin Manmohan. It is a multi-starrer with Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgan and Bobby Deol in the lead roles. Earlier, the company had acquired the distribution rights of successful films like Black, Raincoat and Dil Maange More for the same region.

Recently K Sera Sera had informed BSE on its intentions to generate up to Rs 60 crore from the capital markets. It has already set up distribution offices in Delhi and Nizam, which together cover 60 per cent of the film revenue market. For distribution in Delhi and Northern India, the company has got into a tie-up with PVR. The company is planning to expand its reach by distribution and entering other markets as well.

Apart from motion picture distribution, K Sera Sera's business operations include motion picture production and television content production. It already has two television serials on air. On the movies front, the company has already released successful films like Gayab, Vaastu Shastra and Naach and has four major films to be released in 2005. They are My Wife's Murder, James, Darna Zaroori Hai and the mega budget film, Sarkar, which brings together the father - son duo Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan for the first time.
