3M Commercial launches graphics solutions for interior decoration

Signage can strengthen the communication with customers. Graphics and signs at the point of sale can attract customers with powerful, timely and cost-effective messages that can be changed as quickly as needs and circumstances demand.

3 M Commercial Graphics Division has announced the launch of graphics solutions for interior decoration in India. The division is also celebrating the completion of 15 years in the Indian subcontinent. Complementing the occasion, the company is also organising seminars in Mumbai and New Delhi to aid to the task of global signage.

The newly launched graphics solutions for interior decoration is a popular phenomenon in the western markets. These solutions are highly customisable, providing an ideal approach to brand workspaces and to create a unique retail ambience.

The division is instrumental in the high tech, commercial graphics revolution in India and is the first company to set up a direct sales and technical presence in the country.

Lee M Kennedy, Managing Director, 3 M India, said, " 3 M Commercial Graphics has been a front runner in the industry for a good many years. The launch of graphics solutions for interior decoration in India is yet another indicator of 3 M's innovation and its commitment to this division. Our range digitally printed graphics complement the frosted and dust effect films that are available for glass application for privacy and decoration. The new solution gives an interior designer the freedom and versatility to convert digital imagery into walls, glasses and partitions within an office."

He said, "These easy to apply solutions can be used for upgrading an existing décor and create an interesting work environment."

Said Debashish Gupta, Division Manager, Commercial Graphics Division, "The market in India is around Rs.300 crore. 3 M Commercial Graphics is dedicated to providing brands with superior signage solutions for commercial and retail purposes. We have provided services to many leading multinational brands, which includes Nokia, Reliance and Dominoes etc. Currently, 3 M sign materials are seen at petroleum stations, banks and ATMs, automotive showrooms, corporate offices and retail outlets of various brands."

The sectors which 3 M is exploring to the fullest, include BPO's, software companies, telecom, banking, fast food outlets, retail etc. FMCG is however a notch down on the list because there are very few exclusive FMCG outlets.

3 M Commercial Graphics is also conducting two seminars to tie-up with the occasion called 'Sign Science' which targets brand managers and marketers. The seminars are being conducted by Howard Novotny, 3 M International Technical Service (Asia Pacific).

3 M India Limited is the Indian arm of 3 M and has been in the country for the last 17 years and it markets 2400 products in India.
