Zee Anmol reclaims first spot in overall market: BARC Week 32

Zee Anmol regained its leadership position in the U+R market in Week 32 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India data. The channel registered 747 million impressions. Last week, the first position was bagged by Star Utsav, which slipped to the third position this week with 665 million impressions. The second position was held by Star Plus with 682 million impressions.

Colors’ ‘Naagin-3’ continued to lead the list of top five programmes in overall market with 15.2 million impressions, followed by Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ with 13.1 million and 12.9 million impressions, respectively. Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ bagged the fourth spot with 12.6 million impressions and Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ stood at the fifth with 11.5 million impressions.

Hindi GEC Urban

Star Plus maintained its leadership position in Urban GEC market with 486 million impressions. Colors stood at number two with 405 million impressions. Zee TV, Sony Entertainment Television and SAB TV bagged the third, fourth and fifth spots with 382 million, 361 million and 314 million impressions, respectively.

Colors’ ‘Naagin-3’ led the top five programme list with 9.6 million impressions followed by Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on the second slot with 8.3 million impressions and Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on the third with 7.9 million impressions. ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on the same channel stood at number four with 7.7 million impressions and Colors’ ‘Dance Deewane’ was on the fifth with 7.4 million impressions.


Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to lead the Rural market with 591 million impressions, followed by Star Utsav on the second spot with 469 million impressions and Sony Pal on the third spot with 441 million impressions. Rishtey stood on number four with 415 million impressions and Dangal TV replaced Star Bharat at the fifth position this week with 339 million impressions.

In the same market, Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued to dominate the list of top five programmes of the week with 10.4 million impressions, followed by Sony Pal’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ with 6.8 million impressions. Star Utsav’s ‘Rabba Ve’ maintained its third spot with 6.4 million impressions while Zee Anmol’s ‘Mahek’ and Colors’ ‘Naagin-3’ swapped their positions and bagged fourth and fifth slot with 6.3 and 5.5 million impressions, respectively.
