Onam 2018: Malayalam channels make the best of festive sentiments

Onam is just around the corner and Malayalees across the globe are all prepared to welcome the harvest festival of Kerala. With the festive sentiments at an all-time high, the television world in Kerala is leaving no stone unturned to entertain viewers with various special programs for Onam.

“To keep pace with the changing tastes of our viewers, irrespective of age, Amrita Television is coming with innovative shows this Onam, which will be a sumptuous feast for global Malayalees,” said Siva Kumar R, Business Head, Amrita Television.

Amrita TV is broadcasting the Mohanlal-Atham movie festival from August 15 to August 23. The movies include 1971 Beyond Borders, Hello, Peruchazhi, Irupatham Noottandu, Lokpal, Mr Fraud. Amrita TV’s key highlight for the Thiruvonam day is the telecast of the Pranav-Mohanlal starrer Aadi. The channel will also telecast the 100-day-celebration event of Aadi on August 19 and premiere movies such as Angamali Diaries, Velipadinte Pustakam and Ezra. The channel is also coming up with a special musical chat show with legendary music director Arjunan Master this Onam season.
