Star Utsav has replaced Zee Anmol to dominate the overall market with 672 million impressions according to week 31 (July 28- Aug 3) ratings of Broadcast Audience Research (BARC) India. Zee TV also climbed to second spot with 662 million impressions. Meanwhile, Zee Anmol slipped to third spot with 652 million impressions.
Star Utsav took the seventh and second spot in the urban and rural market with 195 million and 476 million impressions.
Colorsâ€™ â€˜Naagin-3â€™ led the list of top five programmes with 16.6 million impressions, followed by Zee TVâ€™s â€˜Kundali Bhagyaâ€™ and â€˜Kumkum Bhagyaâ€™ with 13.1 million and 12.8 million impressions respectively. Colors â€˜Dance Deewaneâ€™ climbed to fourth spot with 11.4 million impressions while Zee Anmol slipped to fifth spot with 11.3 million impressions.
Hindi GEC Urban
Star Plus replaced Colors to lead Urban GEC market in the same week with 450 million impressions. Meanwhile the latter slipped to second spot with 417 million impressions. Zee TV, Sony Entertainment Television and SAB TV retained third spot, fourth and fifth spot with 401 million, 365 million and 345 million impressions respectively.
â€˜Naagin-3â€™ on Colors continued to be the leader in top five programmes in the Urban market as well with 10.7 million impressions, followed by Zee TVâ€™s â€˜Kundali Bhagyaâ€™ with 8 million impression. Its other property â€˜Kumkum Bhagyaâ€™ slipped to fourth spot with 7.6 million impression. Meanwhile Colorsâ€™ â€˜Dance Deewaneâ€™ climbed to third spot with 7.7 million impressions. Star Plusâ€™ â€˜Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Haiâ€™ retained fifth spot with 7.4 million impressions.
Hindi GEC Rural
Zee Anmol continued to lead the Rural market with 512 million impressions followed by Star Utsav on the second spot with 476 million impressions and Sony Pal on the third spot with 404 million impressions. Rishtey and Star Bharat swapped their positions to fourth and fifth spot with 388 million and 322 million impressions, respectively.
In the same market Zee Anmolâ€™s â€˜Kumkum Bhagyaâ€™ continued to dominate the list of top five programmes of the week with 9.9 million impressions, followed by Sony Palâ€™s â€˜Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaâ€™ with 6.4 million impressions. Star Utsavâ€™s â€˜Rabba Veâ€™ climbed to third spot with 9.3 million impressions while Colors â€˜Naagin-3â€™ held on to its fourth spot with 5.8 million impressions. Zee Anmolâ€™s â€˜Mahekâ€™ slipped to fifth spot with 5.6 million impressions.
