Ajit Chaturvedi, Vodaphone, Business Head for Kerala circle, has been appointed as CEO of HT Learning Centres. He will report to Rajiv Verma, CEO, HT Media.
âHe has led a turnaround of that circle and today it is the only Vodafone circle which is gaining share despite the challenging telecom environment in the country,â Rajiv Verma wrote in an internal email.
Prior to Vodafone, Ajit had a long innings at Tata Teleservices where he held several leadership roles. He has been an integral part of the growth story at Tata Teleservices and led the business right from its startup phase. Ajit has also held senior roles at Airtel where he was the National Head â Sales & Distribution, Mobile Services and focused on building the rural channel.
Prior to Airtel, Ajit has worked with Reliance Infocom, Accenture, Pepsico & Godrej GE.
Ajit is a B. Tech from IIT - BHU and an MBA from IIM Lucknow. He brings around 27 years of experience across FMCG, consumer durables and telecom; in sales, marketing and P & L management roles. Throughout his career, Ajit has been in entrepreneurial and growth management roles where he has built the business ground up and taken it to the next level while driving overall business leadership.
