Star Plus climbs to third spot in Urban GEC, Colors retains top spot: BARC Week 7 Ratings

Star Bharat garnered the leadership position in week 7 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) all India data. The channel recorded 748539 Impressions (000s). Zee Anmol bagged the second spot with 715014 Impressions (000s) and Sony Pal was on third spot with 680587 Impressions (000s). Colors stood at number four with 566399 Impressions (000s) and Zee TV on fifth with 548284 Impressions (000s). 

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya led the top five programme list with 12683 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya on second with 11580 Impressions (000s) and Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV stood on third with 11053 Impressions (000s). Star Bharat's two shows Nimki Mukhiya and Kya Haal Mr Panchaal stood on fourth and fifth spots with 10260 Impressions (000s) and 9878 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Rural GEC

Zee Anmol led the rural market with 554793 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal on number two with 462795 Impressions and Star Utsav on third with 392462 Impressions (000s).

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya led the rural top five programmes list with 9542 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal’s Baalveer and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma on second and third spots with 6605 Impressions (000s) and 6512 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Zee Anmol’s Ganga stood on number four with 6026 Impressions (000s) while CID on Sony Pal bagged the fifth spot with 5944 Impressions (000s)

Star Bharat and Rishtey bagged fourth and fifth spots with 383801 Impressions (000s) and 297420 Impressions (000s) respectively. 

Urban GEC

Colors continued to lead the urban GEC market with 413629 Impressions (000s) followed by Star Bharat on second spot with 364738 Impressions (000s). Meanwhile, Star Plus climbed to number three position this week with 330236 Impressions (000s).

ZeeTV’s prime time drama Kundali Bhagya led the top five list with 7958 Impressions (000s) and Kumkum Bhagya was on second spot with 6859 Impressions (000s). Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma stood on third spot with 6529 Impressions (000s) while Colors’ Udaan and Rising Star grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 5872 Impressions (000s) and 5852 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Zee TV fell to number four spot with 326359 Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television maintained its fifth position with 314255 Impressions (000s)
