BARC Week 6: Zee TV climbs to fifth spot in Hindi GEC

Zee Anmol continued to lead the Hindi GEC category with its property 'Kumkum Bhagya' climbing to second spot in the top five programmes list with 11779 Impressions (000s). Star Bharat and Sony Pal continued to retain second and third spot with 729536 Impressions (000s) and 639246 Impressions(000s).

Star Bharat’s 'Nimki Mukhiya' and 'Kya Haal Mr Panchaal' climbed to third and fourth slot with 10407 Impressions (000s) and 10185 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Colors TV retained its fourth spot with 584651 Impressions (000s) while Zee TV climbed to fifth spot with 571228 Impressions (000s). The latter’s prime time drama 'Kundali Bhagya’ led the top five programmes with 12669 Impressions (000s) while its other popular property 'Kumkum Bhagya' slipped to fifth spot with 10128 Impressions (000s).

Rural Market
Zee Anmol has maintained its leadership position this week as well with improved 591613 Impressions (000s). Sony Pal climbed to second position with 429549 Impressions (000s) while Star Utsav slipped to third spot with 396672 Impressions (000s).

Zee Anmol’s 'Kumkum Bhagya' bagged first slot with 9766 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal's 'Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma' and ‘CID’ with 6469 Impressions (000s) and 6464 Impressions (000s). Zee Anmol’s ‘Ganga’ and ‘Jamai Raja’ took the fourth and fifth position with 6419 Impressions (000s) and 6369 Impressions (000s). The latter slipped from previous week’s third spot.

Star Bharat and Rishtey retained their fourth and fifth slots with improved 374638 Impressions (000s) and 317394 Impressions (000s).

Urban Market
Colors TV continued to lead the urban GEC market with 426504 Impressions (000s), followed by Star Bharat in the second slot with 354898 Impressions (000s) and Zee TV in third with 339825 Impressions (000s). Even the other two channels continued to maintain their positions.

Zee TV’s 'Kundali Bhagya' retained the first spot with 6388 impressions (000s) while 'Kumkum Bhagya' slipped to fourth spot with 5935 Impressions (000s).Sony Sab TV 'Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma' climbed to second spot with 6388 Impressions (000s). Colors’s two shows, 'Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' and 'Ishq Me Mar Jawan' grabbed the third and fifth positions in the list with 5988 Impressions (000s) and 5934Impressions (000s) respectively.

Star Plus retained its fourth spot with 319694 Impressions (000s) while SET climbed to fifth spot with 314996 Impressions (000s).
