BARC Week 47: Zee Anmol leads Hindi GEC overall and rural

Zee Anmol took over Zee TV to lead Hindi GEC overall and rural market with 661 million and 506 million impressions, according to BARC Week 47 (November 18-24) with the latter displaced to second spot with 653 million impressions. The category saw a drop in the ratings overall that week.

However Zee TV’s ‘KundaliBhagya’ and ‘KumkumBhagya’ continued to reinthe top two spots in the overall Top 5 Programs with 12.8 million and 11.6 million impressions respectively. ‘PiyaAlbela’ took the fifth spot with 8.7 million impressions.

Meanwhile Star Bharat retained its third spot with 630 million impressions and Colors maintained their hold over urban and rural markets with 431 million impressions.

Urban Market 



Despite a drop, Colors continued to dominate the market with 431 million impressions, compared to 451 million impressions it fetched in week 45. ‘Udaan’ took the fifth spot in the Top 5 Programs list with 5.1 million impressions. 

Zee TV retained its second spot with 385 million impressions as against previous week’s 411 million impressions. Its two shows ‘KundaliBhagya’ and ‘KumkumBhagya’ also maintained its hold over the top two spots in the Top 5 Programs with 7.5 million and 7.1 million impressions respectively

Star Plus’ position remained unchanged at number three with 338 million impressions. Its show ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’ remained at fourth spot with 5.5million impressions. 

Star Bharat climbed to fourth spot with 299 million impressions, as against previous week’s 305 million impressions. Interestingly its‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’ took the fourth spot in the overall Top 5 Programs with 8.9 million impressions
Sony SAB slipped to fifth spot from previous week’s fourth spot with 284 million impressions. Its popular show ‘Taarak Mehta KaOoltahChasmah’ retained its third spot both in urban and overall with 6.6 million and 9.0 million impressions respectively.

SET retained its sixth spot with 282 million impressions. 
Rural Market



Zee Anmol continued to lead the rural market with 506 million impressions followed by Sony Pal at 404 million impressions. ‘Ganga’ from Zee Anmol held on to its third spot in the Top 5 Programs with 5.69 million impressions while its ‘Jamai Raja’ took the fourth spot with 5.63 million impressions. Zee TV’s ‘KundaliBhagya’ took the fifth spot with 5.2 million impressions.

Sony Pal’s 'Taarak Mehta KaOoltahChashmah’ and ‘Baalveer’ maintained its leadover the Top 5 Programs with 6.6 million and 6.5 million impressions respectively.

Star Bharat slipped to fourth spot with 331 million impressions

Star Utsav climbed to third spot with 375 million impressions.

Rishtey maintained its fifth spot with 296 million impressions.
