The Tamil satellite television market will soon have another channel. Brindavan Television, a 24-hour religious channel, is slated to go on air by the last week of November.

Speaking to exchange4media, Madhan Ram, Managing Director, Brindavan Television, said, “We will launch the trial run in the beginning of November and will formally go on air by the end of the month. We will be telecasting religious programmes round the clock, including mythological serials and movies.”

“The channel would also have temple listings and announcements of important festivals,” he further said.

Ram, however, refused to divulge any details on distribution, marketing and promoters of the channel. All he had to say was, “we want to surprise the viewers with a string of religious programmes”.
