Arnab Goswami speaks at Oxford, Cambridge, House of Lords

Arnab Goswami, Editor-In-Chief, Times NOW made a detailed presentation on media freedom and transformative journalism at the India Debates forum at the House of Lords in London. The event witnessed a lively exchange between Arnab Goswami and former Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Manish Tewari. Various issues regarding media freedom, regulation and impact of media on politics and society in India were discussed at the high profile interaction, which took place within the premises of British Parliament.

Arnab Goswami also delivered a lecture on the same subject at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford which was attended, among others, by doyens such as Sir Timothy Garton Ash of the University of Oxford and John Lloyd of Reuters Institute, University of Oxford.

In the course of his lecture tour of the United Kingdom, Arnab Goswami was also invited to speak at the University of Cambridge where he delivered a talk on transformative journalism at McGrath Theatre, St. Catharine’s College. On 11th November, he spoke at the prestigious King’s College, London, on new age journalism and its impact on Indian society and politics.
