Week 19 of the RAM ratings saw no change in the top positions across all four markets with Fever FM continuing to lead in Mumbai and Delhi. Radio City and Radio Mirchi maintained its top spot in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
In Mumbai, there was no change in the first four slots. In the universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM held on to the first position with an improved 17.4 per cent share, followed by Radio Mirchi on the second spot with 14.1 per cent share. Big FM also retained its third spot with 13.1 per cent while Radio City also maintained its fourth position by 12.1 per cent. Red FM climbed to the fifth spot with 10.5 per cent. In this market, early morning, followed by night and morning time band, observed the highest listenership in total radio.
In Delhi, Fever FM and Radio City held on to the first and second positions respectively. In the universe of 16.5 million listeners, Fever FM bagged a share of 18.6 per cent and Radio City captured 13.1 per cent share. Radio Mirchi and Radio Nasha maintained its third and fourth spots with 12.4 per cent and 11.7 per cent respectively. Red FM snatched the fifth spot from AIR FM2 Gold capturing a share of 10.6 per cent. In this market, evening followed by early morning and night time band, observed the highest listenership in total radio.
The Bangalore market recorded no change in the top five positions. In the universe of 5.3 million listeners, the first spot went to Radio City with 25.7 per cent share. The second, third, fourth and fifth spots were retained by Big FM, Radio Mirchi, Fever FM and AIR FM1 Rainbow, respectively. Big FM had a share of 18.1 per cent, Radio Mirchi 17.2 per cent and Fever FM 14.5 per cent. AIR FM1 Rainbow bagged a share of 6.1 per cent. Afternoon followed by night and evening time band observes highest listenership on total radio.
In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi continued to be in the top position followed by Fever FM and Big FM. Radio Mirchi, Fever FM and Big FM retained its top three spot with 18.6 per cent, 18.4 per cent and 17.9 per cent respectively in the universe of 9.1 million listeners. The fourth and fifth positions were swapped by Red FM and Aamar FM with a share of 10.2 per cent and 6.9 per cent, respectively. Morning followed by mid-morning and afternoon time band observed highest listenership on total radio.
