The fifth week of 2018 of the Radio and Music (RAM) Ratings saw Fever leading Mumbai and Delhi. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi ruled Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
This week in the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM continued to retain the top spot with 15.9 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Big FM. The latter two interchanged their spot fetching 13.8 per cent and 13.5 per cent respectively. Both Radio City and Red FM retained its fourth and fifth spot with 13.1 per cent and 10.6 per cent share respectively. Early morning followed by mid-morning and morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
Fever maintained its hold over Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with 18.8 per cent share. Radio Nasha and Radio Mirchi also held on to their second and third spot with 12.2 per cent and 11.9 per cent respectively. Radio City and Air FM2 Gold held on to their fourth and fifth spot with 11.8 per cent and 11.4 per cent share respectively. Afternoon followed by early morning and evening time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
In Bangalore, Radio City remained in the top spot with improved 25.2 per cent share in the universe of 5.3 million listeners. Big FM, Radio Mirchi, Fever FM and Air FM Rainbow held on to its second, third and fourth spot with 18.3 per cent, 16.9 per cent, 14.6 per cent and 6.7 per cent respectively. Here evening followed by mid-morning and afternoon observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
The Kolkata market was dominated by Radio Mirchi by 20.2 per cent followed by Big FM and Fever FM and Big FM who exchanged their spots with 17 per cent and 16.8 per cent share respectively. Same goes for Red FM and Amar FM which interchanged their fourth and fifth spots with 10.4 per cent and 10.1 per cent share respectively. Afternoon followed by mid-morning and morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
