Men's Health Magazine comes to India

Franchise India will introduce a re-vamped version of Men's Health magazine in India in May/June 2018. The digital version Menshealthindia.com goes live today. The Indian edition will be the 35th international edition of the brand. The magazine will be released on a monthly basis.

Ritu Marya, Editor in Chief, Franchise India, will contribute to Men’s Health as the Editor in Chief. Commenting on the launch, she said, “At Franchise India, it has always been our endeavour to bring to our readers engaging and enhanced content that will enable them to lead a better life and grow in the long run. With Men’s Health India, we aspire to provide enhanced value to Indian men along with creating a better advertiser environment.”

"As per a 2017 Nielsen Report, the grooming market for men in India is well worth over ₹5000 crore and is rapidly expanding. Additionally, Men’s Health has been the #1 performer on newsstands in the US and boasts of the largest audience amongst competitors, reaching out to 12.5 million men worldwide. We are proud to take this legacy ahead by launching it in India, and addressing the huge men’s lifestyle and health segments," she added. 

Hearst, which also owns Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, has recently acquired Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Prevention Magazines from Rodale Inc.
