Mail Today Managing Editor, Abhijit Majumder quits

Abhijit Majumder has quit Mail Today, the daily newspaper of the India Today Group, where he was working as its Managing Editor.

“My last day as Managing Editor, Mail Today. Some terrific memories from the last three years,” Majumder wrote in his social media post.

Without disclosing much about his future plans, Majumder added in the social media update that he would be soon setting up something new with a well-known media house.

“Next assignment involves setting up something new with a well-known media house. Excited. Shall keep you posted. Thanks always for your good wishes,” his post further read.

Majumder, who had been part of the editorial and financial turnaround of the publication since 2015, has also previously worked with Mid-Day as its Executive Editor and was also the Resident Editor of Hindustan Times, Delhi.

In his over two decade long career in journalism, Majumder has also played key roles in The Times of India (TOI) and Daily News and Analysis (DNA).
