Kunal Pradhan appointed as Executive Editor, Hindustan Times

Hindustan Times Editor-In-Chief Sukumar Ranganathan announced the elevation of Kunal Pradhan as the Executive Editor of Hindustan Times. He said in an official statement, “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Kunal Pradhan as Executive Editor of Hindustan Times. In his new role Kunal will be responsible for the Delhi and NCR editions of HT. “

Further talking about his new role he said, “The page one team headed by Amanpreet Singh, the rewrite desk (under the new rewrite head being hired), the Nation team under Ruben Banerjee, the Nation desk, the Gurgaon and Noida teams under Anupam Thapa, and the metro team under Shivani Singh will all now report to Kunal. As will the health team under Sanchita Sharma, the HT Next team under Sushweta Ghosh, the world team under Rezaul Laskar and the legal team under Ashok Bagriya. In addition, DK Singh, the chief of the political bureau will have dotted line reporting to Kunal even as he continues to report to me. The team of special reporters (Aman Sethi, Prashant Jha, Snigdha Poonam, and Niha Masih) will also report to Kunal.”

He added, “ In his new role, Kunal will be a part of the editorial leadership team of Hindustan Times headed by me, and will report to Managing Editor Soumya Bhattacharya.I wish Kunal all the best in his new role.”
