Prime Focus Technologies ties up with HOOQ for new OTT service
HOOQ is a JV between Singtel, Sony Pictures Television and Warner Bros. Entertainment for Over-The-Top video in Asia
HOOQ, Asia’s new Over-the-Top (OTT) service from Singtel, Sony Pictures Television and Warner Bros. Entertainment is progressively being launched across Asia and its recent deal with Prime Focus Technologies, the techno subsidiary of media services powerhouse Prime Focus will boost their overall performance through digital media.
PFT’s CLEARTM Operations Cloud will help package and deliver content on HOOQ across India, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.

Starting from the first quarter of 2015, HOOQ will bring to the customer an OTT that will provide both, Hollywood blockbusters and television series, as well as popular local movies by enabling them to stream and download shows on their devices or platforms of choice.
Like with any other OTT platform, the ability to deliver content at fast speeds, in different formats with varied quality standards is HOOQ’s main concern and one of its biggest challenges.
PFT’s CLEAR, Hybrid Cloud-enabled Media ERP Suite will help manage such issues in an efficient manner. It will manage key workflows including content processing and packaging.
