Babajob.com, a Bengaluru-based job portal for the blue-collared and grey-collared market, has announced the appointment of Rishi Dogra to the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. The appointment comes at a time when the company is expanding its presence in India and the user-base is witnessing rapid growth of 116.7% yearly since 2012.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Dogra will lead end to end marketing for Babajob, with a focus on building new marketing capabilities in line with the overall transition and expansion of the business. We believe that his passion and business acumen will ensure that we continue to deliver innovations that will positively impact the lives of many. On behalf of all of us at Babajob, I would like to welcome him to the team.“
An alumnus of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Dogra comes with tremendous experience in new-age marketing, consumer engagement, digital marketing, sports activation and integrated marketing communications. In his previous role as Head of Digital for PepsiCo (India), he assisted several digital and integrated campaigns across brands and has received accolades for his work. He was chosen as one of the ‘Top 8 Futuristic Brand Heads In India’ by Social Samosa and featured in the ‘Top 50 Digital Marketing Professionals in India‘ ranking by CMO Council and World Brand Congress in 2014.
Dogra signed off by saying, "I'm extremely excited to be joining Babajob. I believe we are solving one of the most fundamental problems for India - that of unemployment - in a unique way that has no parallel globally. As a marketer, I am really looking forward to this very unique challenge of talking to the top and bottom of the pyramid simultaneously and hacking the marketing architecture as we know it to make it happen."For more updates, be socially connected with us on
