Winners speak after bagging awards at IMA

The exchange4media group celebrated the best marketing initiatives that were rolled out this year at the 4th edition of the Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) on Thursday at Gurugram. IMA recognises successful, path-breaking and impactful marketing strategies starting from articulation of sharp objectives addressed through a strategy plugging consumer need gaps unearthed through sharp consumer insights. In this year’s edition of IMA, a total of 44 metals were awarded across four categories and 22 sub-categories. Here is what some of the winners had to say:

Rajat Uppal, National Marketing Head, RED FM:

This turned out to be great. I think the awards are really going up in scale and for RED to win the best use of Radio- Gold for Mallishka’s campaign (Mumbai khadde mai) speaks a lot about radio. Radio and digital together winning the best use of radio is fantastic. Congrats to the Bombay team.

Tanuja Rai Pradhan, Head-m Consumer Insights and Analytic/Marketing, JIO:

It was great and exciting opportunity to be a speaker at the India Brand Conclave and as a winner we are proud. That shows we had made some impact in the industry as well as among consumers. (It is a) wonderfully organised event. All the best to you!

Sahil Alvi Kapoor, Associate Manager, Brand and Communications, BABY AND FEMININE CARE, P&G:

It was absolutely amazing to be winning so many awards for P&G for both Pampers and Whisper. All of the campaigns are coming out of strong insight. Winning awards is always a wonderful thing and getting extra internal appreciation from the industry for that is even more wonderful. Of course, the event is beautifully organised.

Sourab Khanna, Accounts Director, Langoor Digital Marketing Agency:

Well it was a fantastic day! The event was so well organised. They really did justice rather than just distributing the awards. All the good ads and campaigns were there. It was one of the most honest awards that I have attended so far and when it comes to winning the award, I would like to give credit to my Bangalore team. So it’s a great cheer to them!
