Top international experts to address exchange4media Youth Marketing Summit 2011 on Jan 28

Youth Marketing Summit 2011, organised by exchange4media in association with Concrea, the youth marketing and communications agency and part of Mudra Max, will have several international youth marketing experts address the delegates. The Summit will be held in Delhi on January 28, 2011.

Among the confirmed participants are Graham Brown, Founder, Mobile Youth (UK) & Global Chairman, Youth Research Partnership; Jeroen Boschma, Chairman, Gadfly - The Increation Company and author of ‘Generation 3.0’; Mikko Ampuja, Chairman (Europe), Global Youth Research Partnership and 15/30 Research – Finland; Bernard Hor, CEO, Youth Works Asia.

Announcing the theme of the Summit as ‘Understanding and Engaging the Screenagers’, Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, exhange4media Group, said, “The world of young people today is the world of screens – computers, cell phones, television, ATM, digital signage. Comprehending the minds of this generation can be quite daunting for any marketer. Then, there are challenges of rising segments, lifestyle-driven consumption patterns and increasing brand options. At the same time, that brings forth an increasing number of valuable and exciting marketing opportunities for many businesses.”

Samyak S Chakrabarty, Chief Youth Marketer, Concrea said, “Delegates will learn how to create winning strategies to reach the young customers. Leading experts in marketing, market research, media planning, advertising and digital media and authors will share case studies, trends, innovations, and insights across broad range of topics, including youth demographics, buying behaviour, media strategies and brand building.”

Graham Brown will deliver the opening keynote. This will be followed by panel discussions on topics like ‘Challenges in Defining and Understanding India’s Youth Market’, ‘Factors Influencing the Buying Behaviour of India’s Urban Youth’, ‘Digital Media beyond Social Networks’ and ‘The Cool Quotient: What Makes a Brand ‘Cool’ or ‘Not Cool’. There will be case study presentations by Jereon Boschma on ‘Generation Einstein’; on Blackberry by Frenny Bawa, MD, Research in Motion, India; Mikko Ampuja of Finland and Bernard Hor of Malaysia.

The Summit will be attended by corporate and social marketers, media professionals, creative directors and educators.
