TOI's Rahul Kansal to join Future Group

TOI’s Rahul Kansal who stepped down as President, Brand Function, BCCL is joining Future Group. (The news of his exit from BCCL was first broken by exchange4media http://www.exchange4media.com/print/rahul-kansal-to-bid-adieu-to-toi-_62996.html)

The news of Kansal joining Future Group, was confirmed by Kishore Biyani Group CEO Future Group to exchange4media. Biyani also indicated that Kansal would be joining Future Consumer Enterprise Ltd (FCEL).

FCEL is India’s first sourcing-to-supermarket food company by Future Group, it is built on the virtue of sharing, Under FCEL’s spectrum, the company sources best quality commodities from world over, comprises of extensive portfolio of established brands in food and HPC space, builds urban convenience store for key metros and cash-n-carry rural distribution models for other cities across India. (Integrated front end to back end).

Kansal leverages of rich experience across media, he has worked with JWT, O&M, Mudra DDB and Leo Burnett before joining Times of India(BCCL). Kansal was elevated from Chief Marketing Officer BCCL to Executive President in April 2012.
