Perspectrum bullish on growth; appoints Debroto Roy as GM, North & East

Perspectrum Consultancy, the integrated marketing communication (IMC) arm of Percept, has embarked on an ambitious expansion plan, setting up branch offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Pune. Perspectrum has also roped in Debroto Roy as General Manager to oversee its North and East operations. The agency is eyeing revenues of around Rs 50 crore by 2010.

Speaking on the growth plans, Debashis Das, CEO, Perspectrum, said, “Our mandate has been to drive scale and knowledge at Perspectrum. We intend to scale up multi-fold so that we are able to offer a complete bouquet of integrated marketing and communication services to our clients. With Debroto joining us in Delhi, we hope to achieve around 40 per cent revenues from the north and east operations itself.”

“Building knowledge is extremely critical to our business. Our plans include launching a research agency in 2008. With the backing of Percept Group’s resources, I am sure we will be able to add value to all our clients in the field of IMC,” he further said.

Roy has been in the industry for 11 years with varying experiences in the domain that includes Business Operations, Key Account Management, Brand Management, Advertising, Product Management and Marketing Analytics. Prior to Perspectrum, he was associated with agencies like Everest, Leo Burnett, and has worked in the marketing division of telecom giants like Bharti Airtel and Hutchison India Ltd.
