On National Pollution Control Day, Truebil encouraged employees to cycle to work

Truebil, the omni-channel platform for buying and selling of pre-owned cars is showcasing its social and environmental consciousness by encouraging eco-friendly commuting. On National Pollution Control Day on December 2, 2017, Truebil urged its employees to pedal their way to office in order to cut down their carbon footprint and reduce pollution. To encourage all its employees to participate in this initiative, Truebil assured them extra travel allowance for a month. So far, around 30-40 employees of Truebil have decided to push the pedal and travel to work. India’s burgeoning ecological problems and increasing carbon emissions have prompted Truebil to act positively for a better tomorrow as they launch this campaign.

Commenting on the initiative, Shubh Bansal, Co-founder and Marketing Head, Truebil, said, “Environmental issues such as smog, global warming, and ozone depletion pose a serious threat to us and our future generations. The current environmental problems have made us more vulnerable to disasters and tragedies. Keeping all this in mind, we have asked our employees to use bicycles as a mode of commute to work for a day. The aim behind motivating employees to pedal their way to work is to raise awareness about the dangers of air pollution and to support a pollution-free environment. While cycling to work is a small step towards making a better tomorrow, this will definitely inspire more people to be friendly to the environment and stay fit. Every year on Pollution Control Day, we will cycle our way to work to combat these environmental issues.”

This campaign is the latest of many diverse and meaningful initiatives undertaken by Truebil on a variety of occasions. This time again, by bringing the cycling initiative to the fore, Truebil aims to give back to the environment and join the fight to preserve the ecological balance and inspire others to do the same, by repeating this campaign every year.
