Now Ringing Bells launches LED TV, 6 new phones and 3 power banks

Noida-based Ringing Bells, which was in the news at the start of this year for their controversial smartphone Freedom 251, has recently launched a 31.5 inch LED TV priced at Rs 9,900.  Along with this, it has also launched 6 new phones, including 4 feature phones and 2 smartphones and 3 power banks.

According to reports, the company will soon take orders for its LED TV and will start shipping them from August 15. The four feature phones launched include – Hit, King, Boss and Raja, which are priced at Rs. 699, Rs. 899, Rs. 999 and Rs. 1099, respectively. The Android smartphones are Elegant and Elegance that are priced at Rs. 3,999 and Rs. 4,499, respectively.

In addition to it, the company also announced that it will start shipping the Freedom 251 phone- touted as the cheapest smartphone in the world- once they resume taking orders for it from July 8. The company has further sought help from the Government so that the phone can reach out to as many people. According to previous media reports, the company has asked for Rs 50,000 crore investments from the Government.

Earlier Indian Cellular Association had raised concerns about the pricing of the phone, it came under the Enforcement Directorate scanner, after which the company decided to refund money to pre-booked customers. It was also being termed as the next biggest Ponzi scheme in the country.
