Lakme Fashion Week 2006 gets Sifymax as its official Internet partner

Last time it was more in the news for a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ than the haute couture being showcased. This time the event is reportedly swarming with moral ‘police’ on the lookout for a repeat ‘accident’. Yes, the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) 2006 is back in Mumbai and this time it has SifyMax, the broadband content portal from Sify Ltd, as its official broadband partner The LFW commenced from October 31 and will continue till November 4.

As the official Internet Partner, SifyMax hosts the official LFW 2006 website, webcast the event live over all five days and host exclusive content on the event. SifyMax is also accessible from several points at the National Center for Performing Arts (NCPA), the venue for LFW 2006.

As part of its association with the event, SifyMax is providing a comprehensive coverage on the country’s top models, portraying collections of 43 leading and upcoming designers participating at the LFW. The coverage, apart from live webcast, also includes exclusive video footage like interviews and even behind the scenes footage of the event, profiles of designers and models, photo galleries and reviews of the collection by celebrities.
