exchange4media Conclave 2011 in Mumbai tomorrow

After a scintillating round in Delhi, the exchange4media Conclave 2011 now moves to Mumbai on July 15 at ITC Grand Central. Jagran Group is presenting partner of exchange4media Conclave. As in the Delhi leg, Mumbai too will have a galaxy of speakers addressing the audience.

Nitin Paranjpe, CEO & MD, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, will deliver the Keynote Address on ‘Changing Consumers, Changing Business… The New Face of Marketing’. As consumers evolve, and business priorities change, how are marketers looking at new age communication? Paranjpe will throw light on these and many other topics.

Presenting a global perspective on the future model of media agencies and what their business priorities and business model should be will be our second Keynote Speaker, Dominic Proctor, CEO, Mindshare Worldwide, in his address on ‘Agency of the Year 2016’. Lynn de Souza, Chairperson and CEO, Lintas Media Group, will be chairing this session.

Our third Keynote Speaker, Mike Cooper, CEO, PHD Worldwide, will be sharing his insights on ‘Return on Social Media investments…’ As brands go gaga over social media and invest in their presence in the domain, where are the returns on these investments?

‘Communicating with the Connected Consumer’ comes on the table again. The speakers here include CVL Srinivas, CEO, LiquidThread APAC and Chairman - Starcom MediaVest Group India and Vishnu Mohan, CEO, Havas APAC. While media fragmentation and technology may have led to shrinking attention spans, but has it also led to new opportunities and ways of connecting with the consumer who seems to be connected to five devices at the same time? What are new ways of making audiences listen today?

Ending the exchange4media Conclave on a high note is a Plenary Session that would see Saugata Gupta, CEO, Consumer Products – Marico as the Session Keynote Speaker. The Session Chairperson is Ashish Bhasin, CEO, Aegis India and the Speakers include Vikram Sakhuja, Chairman and CEO, GroupM South Asia and Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors.

The exchange4media Group organises its flagship event exchange4media Conclave every year, as an attempt to bring industry stakeholders – corporates, media service brands and media owners - on the same platform to discuss the changing global communication industry, with specific focus on India.

Taking off from the event last year, where the discussions focussed on ‘Rebooting the Indian Media and Advertising Industry’, the theme of the event this year is: ‘Reshaping Media Priorities for the New Marketing Era’.

The exchange4media Conclave 2011 would take place in two cities -- New Delhi (at the LaLit) and Mumbai (at ITC Grand Central).

The exchange4media Conclave is the only national forum that is dedicated to the media service brands part of the advertising business. In addition to media service brands, the exchange4media Conclave has advertisers at its core. The Conclave brings under scanner various aspects that impact these two sections including the business structure of media service brands and the media environment media agencies and advertisers operate in while communicating with consumers.

The previous Keynote Speakers include Irwin Gotlieb, CEO, GroupM, Mainardo de Nardis, CEO, OMD Worldwide and Tim Love, CEO, Omnicom APAC in 2010. The Keynote Speakers in 2009 included Andrew Rashbass, CEO, The Economist, Mark Patterson, CEO, GroupM APAC and Asit Mehra, Vice President, Omnicom Worldwide.
