CII’s two-day S’Marketing convention gets underway in Chennai today

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as a first-time initiative is organising a two-day S’Marketing Convention focusing on the theme ‘Smart strategies to beat emerging marketing challenges’ on December 17-18 in Chennai.

Commenting on the Convention, CK Ranganathan, Chairman, CII - Tamil Nadu, said, “Changing times require changed strategies. Marketing urgently needs to reinvent itself and lead the required strategic transformation to successfully meet and beat emerging challengers. We need smart marketing today more than ever before. The S’Marketing Convention will be a step in this direction.”

According to Convention Chairman KS Ramesh, the S’Marketing Convention would bring together some of the best marketing thinkers and practitioners as speakers to review the fundamental shifts in the marketing scenario that were influencing changes in the way smart marketers operate. He further said that the Convention would bring together industry leaders, domain experts, decision makers, distinguished academicians and delegates from across the country and provide an ideal platform for knowledge exchange and business networking.

The Convention would address the following key challenges: The challenge of the fast changing consumer; the challenge of rising customer power; the challenge of leveraging data for better decisions; the challenge of better exploiting emerging digital power; the challenge of better exploiting new avenues for growth; the challenge of creating and retaining better talent.
