Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan to move to Switzerland in new role within the Nestlé group

Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan, Sr VP & Head of Communications and eCommerce, Nestlé South Asia Region, is all set to move to Central Europe in a new role.

Highly placed sources have told exchange4media that Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan, popularly known as Chandru, will be moving to Switzerland within the Nestle group.

Prior to joining Neste in 2010, Radhakrishnan was Head of Brand at Airtel. He has also had stints at Marico as Category Head and as Group Product Manager at Britannia.

 During his career spanning almost two decades, he has built strong businesses, compelling brands, breakthrough innovations and great teams. He is best known for drafting a sustainable profitable growth story for Saffola by repositioning the brand to appeal to younger adults, driving equity for the Airtel brand by making it more human and real, driving consumption for coffee in India by repositioning the Nescafe’ brand for the young and also by refreshing the marketing mix, strengthening the corporate equity of Brand Nestlé through sustained product brand efforts, launching the internationally acclaimed initiative #ShareYourGoodness, drafting a clear communication strategy for Maggi and using the eCommerce platform to build back consumer confidence in Maggi.

Radhakrishnan has also worked on corporate brand partnerships like #EducateTheGirlChild, which has not only improved Nestlé’s corporate image but also helped it add significant value to the society.

Repeated queries and phone calls to Radhakrishnan went unanswered at the time of filing of this report.
