BARC Week 2: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare leads Top 10 Brands

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare climbed up to lead Top 10 Brands for the second week of 2018 (January 6-12) with 16,085 insertions while previous week’s leader Videocon D2H slipped to the second spot with 15,415 insertions. Dettol Liquid Soap took the third spot with 13,660 insertions 
The online travel portal Trivago slipped to the fourth spot with 12,574 insertions. Dettol Toilet Soaps slipped to the fifth spot with 11,035 insertions. 
Harpic 10X and Vimal Elaichi Pan Masala climbed to sixth and seventh spot with 9695 and 9624 insertions.
Harpic Power Plus/Bathroom Cleaner, Kalyan Jewellers and Honda CB Shine entered the category at eighth, the ninth and tenth spot with 9604, 9596 and 9558 insertions respectively. 
In the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG brand Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser India and Procter & Gamble retained its top three spots with 112521, 93,028 and 40,066 impressions respectively. Interestingly the former put in lesser insertions compared to latter whose contributions jumped by 49 per cent. Procter & Gamble also shot up their insertions by 29.9 per cent from the previous week. 
Cadburys India and Patanjali Ayurved climbed to fourth and fifth spot with 24,654 and 23,780 insertions.
Brooke Bond Lipton India, ITC Ltd and Ponds India slipped to sixth, the seventh and eighth spot with 23,288, 22,134 and 18,392 insertions respectively.
Colgate Palmolive India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare entered the category at the ninth and tenth spot with 16,307 and 16,202 insertions respectively.
