At the recently held Pitch CMO Summit in New Delhi, Pradeep Hejmadi, CEO, AIDEM Ventures Pvt Ltd spoke about ‘The power of emotion in marketing’.

Underlining the role of emotions in marketing, Hejmadi demonstrated ways in which technology can be integrated into different business set-ups to track engagement levels of audiences. This technology, according to Hejmadi, is real time and GDPR compliant too. 

The tech innovation called Sensai helps in brand growth by giving emotional insights to marketers by tracking non-verbal emotions. The inbuilt brainwave mapping tool gauges emotions driven by engagement. Be it short content like promos, commercials etc or TV series, Sensai provides real-time and actionable insights. It enables a new era in tracking, which is non-biased.

“It tracks the key points on your face to tell you about the expressions. This solution has been developed for a global market and this AI has been adjusted to track emotions across a diverse human population,” said Hejmadi.

He also demonstrated how expressions can be tracked to gauge the engagement of viewers. “This AI-led expression analytics tool tracks every expression, it tracks every aspect of a content piece and shows the level of engagement and breaks that even into factors like engagement in terms of emotions,” Hejmadi added.
