Indian Content Marketing Awards 2018: Countdown begins!

The days are inching closer for the third edition of the Audacity e4m Indian Content Marketing Awards 2018 (ICMA) and second edition of Content JAM, a Content Marketing Conference, set to take place on September 7. The event provides a stunning showcase of talent, expertise, inspiration and insight for brand marketers.
At the e4m Content JAM conference, leading global and Indian experts of content marketing will discuss on the theme ‘Content First: Storytelling in the Digital Age'. As technology levels the playing field for the marketing haves and have-nots, content is the only game changer for a company in achieving its marketing and business objectives. In a world, where digital is breaking silos, content is mission critical for organisations.
This year the event is slated to have more than 100 agencies and brands participating and will witness 500+ attendees. The full-day conference will have keynote sessions by Indian & global speakers, panel discussions with content creators and platform owners, and speaker sessions by top brands followed by the awards night that makes up for high brand visibility and great networking opportunities.
A total of three Panel Discussions and a Celebrity Chat are to be held. The first panel discussion chaired by Arnab Mitra, Managing Director, Liqvd Asia World Wide will cover the topic ‘Creating Sustainable Content Play Content’. It will discuss how the consumption habits have very clearly moved to social and OTT & Digital platforms, not only for the millennial but for a large portion of connected consumers. Will original content continue to be a differentiator and drive growth for OTT & Digital Platforms? Is the Potential for Indian subscribers paying for premium content not too far from reality? Have the OTT & Digital Platforms decoded what will keep them relevant and in business in the long term? Speakers involved at this session are Manish Aggarwal, Business Head, Zee5 India and Akash Banerji, Head- Marketing & Partnerships, Viacom18 Digital Ventures – Voot.
The second Panel Discussion chaired by Samir Bangara, Founder & MD, Qyuki Digital Media will feature a talk about ‘Content Intelligence Injecting Science into Content Creation’. It will answer questions such as are content creators and brand owners relying on digital, data and technology as an ally? Have newer forms of tech allowed in generating insights that can guide in content creation, which otherwise tends to be about gut feel and intuition? Is the foundation on which content planning and creation done bolstered enough to produce new content solutions that will deliver results? What should the role of technology be for content creators and for brand owners? Is the role of creativity augmented or compromised? What are the challenges ahead? The speakers for this discussion are Kanika Mohan Saxena, VP - Content Services, Vodafone India; Bhuvan Bam, Youtuber - Singer - Song Writer; Arun Unni, Chief Content Officer, TataSky; Karthik Nagarajan, Chief Content Officer, Wavemaker; Ajay Nair, Director, Only Much Louder (OML); and Amit Gilani, Executive Creative Director, The Viral Fever (TVF).
The third Panel Discussion will cover the topic 'From Content Silos to Content Ecosystems'. The topic will discuss how unlike legacy media a brand knew where, what, when and how its content would be seen, today brands are dependent on media scenarios that include multiple variables before any form of content is shown to a particular consumer. How are brands changing from focusing on self to monitoring and preparing for the big picture of where their content will be seen? How should brands identify, partner and collaborate with other ecosystem players to ensure that their content makes maximum impact, in a desired way? Is brand safety still a concern on digital platforms in India? What are the expectations thereof? Speakers involved in this session are Prachi Mohapatra, Chief Marketing Officer, FBB; Sudhanshu Nagpal, Head-Biscuits Category, Mondelez India; Sachin Killawala, Marketing Director, Nivea India; Amitabh Pande, Deputy Marketing Manager, IKEA India; and Zoya Pandey, Head-Marketing Excellence, Abbott Healthcare.
The last panel discussion is a Celebrity Chat, which will be chaired by Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-In-Chief, exchange4media on the topic of 'Content Marketing Lessons from Entertainment Industry'. Speakers at this session will include Rannvijay Singh, Film Actor & TV Star; Anupama Chopra, Film Critic; and Umesh Shukla, Film Director.
