Orange Fever on Nick Summer Fiesta

With summer vacations not far away, parents can turn to Nick to keep their children indoors on hot summer afternoons. The kids’ entertainment channel has lined up a fun-filled Nick Summer Fiesta that includes exciting shows and movie premieres. The Nick Summer Fiesta would include six movies that premiere on Nick Home Cinema, new episodes and marathons of shows on Nick with ‘Ninja Hattori’ and ‘Perman’ and a new show called ‘Mighty Cat Masked Niyandar’.

Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Vice President and General Manager, Nick India, said, “This summer, we have planned a fun-filled fiesta on the channel for kids to stay glued to Nick. We welcome yet another superhero, ‘Mighty Cat Masked Niyandar’, to the Orange bandwagon.”

Adding to the bandwagon, the channel also plans to have action-packed afternoons on weekends with back-to-back specials of all new episodes of ‘Ninja Hattori’ and ‘Perman’ at 1 pm and 5 pm, respectively.

Starting April 21, Nick has introduced a new show called ‘Mighty Cat Masked Niyandar’, which will be aired Monday to Friday at 3 pm and 5 pm. The show is about a cowardly cat Niyargo who transforms into the superhero Niyandar on receiving a distress call from anyone in trouble.

Nick will also premiere six movies on Nick Home Cinema. Starting off on April 20, the channel premiered ‘Under the Black Flag’, which will be followed by ‘Dinotopia’ on April 27. The channel will premiere ‘Bingo’ on May 4, ‘Labou’ on May 11, ‘Stuart Little’ on May 18, and ‘Summer Days with Coo’ on May 25.

Nick also has special celebrations lined up for Mother’s Day on May 11 with a contest being held from May 1-10, wherein kids can write in a special message for their mothers or send in their pictures with their mothers, which Nick would then showcase on air and on its website www.nickindia.com on Mother’s Day.
