CBeebies, the pre-school channel from BBC Worldwide, enters India with popular shows

CBeebies, the pre-school channel from BBC Worldwide, marks its entry in India with a strong line-up of new programming this festive season, as six internationally acclaimed titles arrive on the channel.

The UK’s pre-school channel will premiere in India with shows like ‘Pablo, the Little Red Fox’, an animated short that teaches children about tolerance, diversity and acceptance when playing together, for those in the age bracket of two-six; ‘Charlie and Lola’, the imaginative animated series that has captivated pre-school children all over the world; and ‘Numberjacks’, animated superhero numbers who solve mathematical problems in the real world with inputs from real children.

‘Pablo, the Little Red Fox’ will be aired on CBeebies in India every weekday at 8.50 am, 11.50 am, 2.50 pm and 5.50 pm on Saturdays, and at 6.50 am, 9.50 am, 12.50 pm and 3.50pm on Sundays.

‘Toddworld’ will be aired every weekday at 6.50 am, 9.50 am, 12.50 pm and 3.50 pm. ‘Charlie and Lola’ will premiere on CBeebies on October 15, and will be aired on weekdays at 7.20 am, 10.20 am, 1.20 pm and 4.20pm, and on weekends at 8.25 am, 11.25 am, 2.25 pm and 5.25 pm.

Another series making its debut in India on CBeebies is ‘The Shiny Show’, which will be aired daily at 8 am, 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. ‘Numberjacks’ will premiere on November 19 in India, and will be telecast daily at 8 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm.

Household favourites like ‘Teletubbies’, ‘Tweenies’ and ‘The Roly Mo Show’ will continue to entertain tiny tots with special episodes during the CBeebies Diwali schedule.

The channel plans to air ‘Teletubbies’ daily at 6 am, 9 am, 12 noon and 3 pm; ‘Tweenies’ will be aired every weekday at 8.35 am, 10.30 am, 11.35 am, 2.35 pm and 5.35 pm, and on weekends at 7.10 am, 10.10 am, 1.10 pm and 4.10 pm. ‘The Roly Mo Show’ will be telecast every weekday at 7 am, 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm, and on weekends at 8.35 am, 11.35 am, 2.35 pm and 5.35 pm.
