‘Didi’s comedy show’ is back on Toon Disney’s Jetix

Toon Disney has brought back its German property ‘Didi’s Comedy Show’. The show premieres from May 7 and will be aired from Monday to Friday at 6 pm in the Jetix block. To make the character and show more endearing to the Indian audience, it has been dubbed in three local languages and a special music track has been created to compliment the same.

Nachiket Pantvaidya, Executive Director-Production and Programming, Walt Disney Television International (India), said, “The launch of ‘Didi’s Comedy Show’ will further ramp up the comedy offerings on Jetix, as it joins other quirky and fun shows like ‘Pucca’ and ‘Yin Yang Yo’. It will further enforce our efforts to make the summer vacation more colourful and fun.”

Tushar Shah, Director-Marketing and Communications, The Walt Disney Television International (India), added, “We focus on a progressive approach to engage our audiences and keep them tuned in to Toon Disney by staying abreast of the evolving moods of our audiences. With our comedy shows on Toon Disney, we have taken another initiative to leverage the interest and reach out to our viewers as we pursue new and enduring audience connections.”

Speaking on enhancing the audience relationship, Pantvaidya explained, “Toon Disney is excited to enhance its audience relationship by airing shows that will keep viewers relaxed and entertained at home during summers. We’ve syndicated our programming initiatives with the flavours of the season by connecting with our audiences and providing them with a stress-free high-quality experience.”
