Zee TV’s afternoon programming team quits

Zee TV’s programming team in the afternoon band has quit on the very first day Sandeep Goyal took charge as the chief executive officer of broadcasting channels in Zee Network. Among the people who left Zee are, Ms Tripti Sharma, head of Zee TV programming and Bhakti Raj, executive producer.

The move has come as a surprise because a few months back as per AT Kearney recommendations Zee TV had split the prime-time and non-prime-time bands. The afternoon, morning and pre-prime time bands were put under a single programming head while the prime-time slot on weekdays between 8-11 pm had a separate team.
