Zee-STAR war spreads internal discord in SitiCable

According to top SitiCable officials in Delhi, the internal discord within the multi-service operator is evident. In a sudden development, Krishan Batra, managing director of East Delhi Communication Network, has tendered his resignation, protesting against the constant channel mapping on the network and gross interference in financial matters by SitiCable management.

Several sub-operators of the network have decided to distance themselves from the current deadlock citing frequent interference by the MSO’s top management in channel positioning and financial matters. Hectic parleys were on between the top management of Zee and the SitiCable JV partners to arrest the internal rumblings in Siticable. The blackout impact has been felt in Delhi, Noida, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
