Yet another crorepati from KBC

Young couple Vijay and Arundatti Raul from the industrial town of Rourkela are the second winners of a crore on KBC. They were introduced by the Big-B himself at a Star press conference at ‘The Leela’ in Mumbai. The KBC round with the Rauls in the hot seat will air on May 7.

The Rauls are the first crorepatis in KBC’s new format of getting husband-wife teams to play the gameshow. While Vijay Raul is an engineer in his 30s in SAIL, his wife Arundatti is a housewife. General knowledge is a passion with both of them. This reportedly led Vijay Raul to take a shot at KBC.

The couple were avid watchers of ‘Mastermind’ on BBC and his dream was to appear on it. This had helped them prepare for KBC for which they worked hard. After paying tax on the prize money, the Rauls expect to invest the rest of the crore for the future of their two-year old son, Vijay Raul.
