Star is believed to have increased its stake in Hathway

Star is believed to have increase its stake in Hathway Cable to 49 per cent from 26 per cent earlier. However, Star has not confirmed the news.

According to the cable operators, Star does not have to invest anything new to up its stake in Hathway Cable. Star had already made a substantial investment in Hathway, which would be adjusted now against dilution of Hathway shares.
