Sobhagya appointed media advisor for VSNL selloff

VSNL has appointed advertising and public relations agency Sobhagya to develop a communication strategy to address the concerns of VSNL management, shareholders, interested bidders and employees in wake of the disinvestment of VSNL.

The agency would also advise and assist VSNL management in corporate communications with its employees, highlighting the benefits of privatisation. Department of disinvestment has received about six bids, including those from Reliance, Tatas, Birlas and Bharti-Singapore Telecom combine, for its 25 per cent stake.
