Public issue of Mid-Day oversubscribed

The public issue of Mid-Day Multimedia has been oversubscribed in its book-build portion, which closed on February 16.Mid-Day has decided to offer shares in the fixed price portion at Rs 70. The fixed price portion of 7.14 lakh equity shares, which accounts for 10 per cent of the total issue size, will open to public on March 3 and close on March 12.

The present equity issue of Rs 50 crore is the first from a company in the print media sector. Mid-Day Multimedia is promoted by Mr Khalid Ansari and owns four newspapers and a magazine, which includes Inquilab, Mid-day, Sunday Mid-day, Gujrati Mid-day and The Brief.
