Prasar Bharati gives go ahead to DD for DTH

Doordarshan is finally in the direct-to-home foray with the Prasar Bharati board giving it a green signal to set up a DTH platform. With this DD plans to discuss the possibility of jointly setting up a platform with the participation of other members of the industry such as Star TV, Zee, Sony, etc. The meeting with the Indian Broadcasting Federation (IBF) has been set for Monday.
